The Plan of Salvation

Hear – Rom. 10:12, Acts 8:5-6, 12-13

You have to hear the word to learn about God. The early Christians heard the word before they were baptized because that was the only way they could know of God because they did not have the written Bible. Today we have the Bible.

Believe – John 8:24, James 2:17, Hebrews 11:1-6

You must believe in God even though you can’t see his physical appearance if you don’t believe in God how can you believe the scriptures, which is essential for eternal salvation. You must also obey, the Devils also believe, but they will are not saved.

Repent – Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30

Change of mind that results in a change of life; forsaking evil and following righteousness.

Confess – Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10

You must tell acknowledge that you believe that Jesus is the son of God.

Baptized – Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 2:47

You must believe and be baptized and you will receive remission of your sins and be added to the Church.
